Hi, I’m Eli Ben-Porat and I’ve been publishing baseball research for almost a decade now and recently concluded a stint as a consultant for a major league baseball team.

My early work appeared at The Hardball Times, while my most recent work can be read on BaseballProspectus. I’m now self-publishing, as it will free me to write about whatever I want, from Chess to Rust to Baseball, and perhaps, (gasp) Politcs, though, I’ll likely steer clear of that.
